WELCOME TO
HENLEY-IN-ARDEN MEDICAL CENTRE

This website has been designed to tell you about the practice and the services that we offer. Please read it carefully. We trust that you will find it helpful and informative.

We are a long established practice which moved in 1990 from the High Street to modern purpose-built premises here in Prince Harry Road. There is a large free car park adjacent to the building and there is a footpath to and from the High Street. Patients attending the medical centre are welcome to park in our private car park if space in the public car park is limited.

We have provided amenities and access for all members of the community, including wheelchair access. There is a parking space in the adjacent car park for patients with a disabled sticker for their vehicle.

Our aim at this practice is to provide a caring and efficient service to our patients, and we have built an enthusiastic team of healthcare professionals with strong administrative back-up to deliver this service to you.

We are always interested in improving the services we offer and would welcome constructive ideas from our patients.

You can help us by

• Being on time for your appointments
• Letting us know if you need to cancel
• Calling for a home visit before 10.00am
• Ringing for repeat prescriptions between 2.00 and 5.00pm
• Ringing for test results between 2.00 and 5.00pm

Practice News and Notices

THE RESULTS OF THE PATIENT OPINION SURVEY CONDUCTED RECENTLY GAVE FAVOURABLE RESULTS, AND INDICATED THAT THE GREAT MAJORITY OF PATIENTS WERE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICES PROVIDED.

RECENT GOVERMENT  RULINGS HAVE PROMPTED THE SETTING UP OF SURGERIES OUTSIDE OF OUR NORMAL WORKING HOURS. WE HAVE CALLED THESE SURGERIES 'COMMUTER CLINICS' AS THEY ARE AIMED AT PEOPLE WHO WORK AND UNABLE TO ATTEND DURING OUR USUAL WORKING HOURS.

THE COMMUTER CLINICS WILL COMPRISE PRE-BOOKED APPOINTMENTS ONLY AND WILL NOT BE FOR EMERGENCIES.  THE LATTER WILL CONTINUE TO BE COVERED BY THE EXISTING OUT-OF-HOURS SERVICE.  THERE WILL BE ONE DOCTOR ON DUTY, AND NO NURSING STAFF.

COMMUTER CLINICS WILL BE HELD ON THE 1st and 3rd WEDNESDAY EVENING OF THE MONTH AND ON THE 2nd and 4th SATURDAY MORNING.THE SURGERY PHONE LINES WILL NOT BE OPEN DURING COMMUTER CLINICS SO ALL APPOINTMENTS MUSTR BE MADE OR CANCELLED DURING  NORMAL WORKING HOURS.
